Stators manufacture, an area of technological excellence

Safran Transmission Systems assembles stators of aluminum and titanium on behalf of fellow Safran company Safran Aero Boosters, for the CFM56, GEnx and GP7000 engines, and shortly for the new LEAP and Silvercrest.

Stators

Producing these stators calls on different assembly processes, including screws and rivets for the stators on the GP7000, CFM56 and GEnx engines. We also use electron beam welding to create lighter stators for the Silvercrest and LEAP engines.

Along with our assembly of rings and blades, Safran Transmission Systems provides silicone sealing for these vanes, mechanical treatments, reworking, and 3D dimensional and visual checks.

Safran Transmission Systems Poland produces annual totals of about 800 stators for the GP7000, 500 for CFM engines and 300 for the GEnx.
